The importance of working with a professional
Why it is crucial to work with an experienced filmmaker on your next video project and not just shot it yourself?
So, you need a video.
Or to be more precise you need to send a message, spread a word.
You have a product, an idea or a service you want to share with the world.
At first it might seem something easy, your phone can take nice videos, or a friend of yours has this super camera.
Why should you bother, waste time and money on a professional filmmaker?
I can think of several reasons, but mostly it has to do with the quality you are looking for. Filmmaking is quite a difficult process. First you have an idea, you have to break it down, into parts and pieces, to make a script, edit it again and again.
Then when it has its final shape production preparation starts.
Find what you need, locations, actors, crew, equipment, clothes, props etc. Analyze everything and make an accurate detail budget you need to keep it tight and avoid any unnecessary costs.
Then organize when, where and how the shooting will take place.
Trust me it’s not fun, or to be more honest, it is if you love filmmaking.
The shooting takes place and then editing and post need to be done. Usually there is a deadline that moves everyone.
Edit after edit, reviews, re-edits, sound recording, finding the suitable music, get the image to look as you desired.
Almost done. Now it's time for the video to do its part and deliver what you wanted from the start.
You still consider using your friend's super camera?
